PUBG's newest feature is not the slam dunk you'd think it would be

For such a seemingly small addition, the recently added ability to mark objects in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is causing quite the stir in the community. In this week's PUBG PC test patch, which has yet to actually hit live servers, PUBG Corp. added a Rainbow Six Siege-style ping marker. Players can simply place this marker with the press of a button, notifying teammates about a target, or simply marking the direction everyone should face/go.

A new South Park game is in development

A new South Park title is in development at Question Games. Based in California and Virginia, Question is made up of ex-AAA developers whose past team credits include: Thief: Deadly Shadows, BioShock, BioShock 2, BioShock Infinite, Dishonored, South Park: The Stick of Truth, and South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Outed via through a job listing, the company and South Park Digital Studios are seeking a lead level designer to work on a new Unreal Engine video game set in the world of the long-running series.

Newell: Valve may have been doing "something stupid" with bans

Asked about a high-profile Steam ban, Valve boss Gabe Newell said the company is still looking into the case, and constantly re-evaluating its policies. The PA Report asked the Valve founder about a ban highlighted by Rock Paper Shotgun, in which a Russian user lost his entire Steam account; after press interest blossom, the account was restored. Star Citizen can't be done on current consoles

Star Citizen creator Chris Roberts has said the space sim will always be a PC exclusive, because even next-generation hardware can't live up to elite rigs. Roberts told ArsTechnica that current consoles couldn't even handle his proof-of-concept mock ups as seen in Star Citizen's pitch video. "You can do most of it on a next generation console, but I can promise you a top-end PC now is already more powerful than what a next generation console is going to be,"

Yakuza 5 to have new engine, five playable characters - including Haruka

The first details of Sega's promised Yakuza 5 reveal have surfaced. According to Andriasang, the new entry's title is Ryu ga Gotoku 5: Yume Kanaeshi Mono - something like "Person Who Fulfills Dreams", apparently. Early Famitsu leaks report the game will have five main characters, a first for the series. Along with series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu, players will be able to get behind Taiga Saejima, Shun Akiyama, Tatsuo Shinada and Haruka.

Dragon Age: Inquisition keep-building mechanic revealed

Dragon Age: Inquisition will include a keep-building mechanic that sees players capturing and maintaining strongholds across the world to unlock new quests. The system has been detailed in a new preview today. It follows BioWare producer Cameron Lee downplaying the similarities between Dragon Age: Inquisition's plot and Mass Effect 3. Over one million people have wanked off to Borderlands on Pornhub during launch week

One million guns, all locked and loaded, firing their payloads in unison. Borderlands 3 might be a co-op game, but over a million people have been playing it solo by watching Borderlands porn on Pornhub. That’s one million people searching for Borderlands porn within just five days, an increase of 12,905%. That makes it five times more popular than Fortnite and three times more popular than Overwatch. Pornhub even made a graphic for what people are searching for and the results are awful.

Rumor: Call of Duty Elite, MW3 logo and cover outed

A post over on the Electric Hydra forums (via Destructoid) has what it claims are logos for Modern Warfare 3 and something called Call of Duty: Elite. Kotaku has also posted what looks to be the game's cover art. Get all the images in the gallery below. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 getting an official reveal could honestly happen any day now, so if the logo posted is indeed the real deal, it's really not so outrageous.
