State of Play ultimately proved to be the right avenue to show off Ghost of Tsushima's first gameplay. Sony dedicated the most recent State of Play episode entirely to Ghost of Tsushima. So many of us were excited to learn more about Sucker Punch's latest that it made it the most watched episode by far. As noticed by Push Square, last week's Tsushima State of Play has amassed 1.5 million views on the main PlayStation YouTube channel.

PS3 hits 30 million lifetime sales across PAL regions

Sony has announced that total PS3 console sales in PAL territories have passed the 30 million unit mark as of December 17th. The positive announcement comes as the company's stock rating was reduced to 'junk' status in Japan by credit rating agency Fitch, following poor financials in the region. Jim Ryan, President and CEO of SCEE. said in a statement issued to VG247, "This is a major milestone for us and clearly shows just how popular the PlayStation brand and products are within Europe and the PAL territories.

PUBG will no longer support Steam Family Sharing, modifying or deleting game files may get you banned

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is ending support for Steam's Family Sharing feature as part of a multi-layered effort to combat cheaters. PUBG Corp, the game's developer, announced this change in a blog post today. The reason being that the studio has "identified a number of vulnerabilities" that cheaters exploit within Steam's Family Sharing. "Please understand that we are introducing this measure to fight abuse and ensure a fair environment," PUBG Corp wrote.

Elder Scrolls Online wraps up its Skyrim story with new Markarth DLC

The Elder Scrolls Online will be wrapping up its year-long event, Dark Heart of Skyrim, with new DLC that's due to land in the game in November. In a livestream, Bethesda announced that the new DLC – simply named Markarth – will go live in the game's public test server tomorrow (September 21) and arrive on all platforms in a few months. Following its rollout in the PTS, Markarth will release on PC and Mac on November 2, and then on PS4 and Xbox One on November 10.

Ken Levine shuttering Bioshock studio Irrational Games

In a statement issued on the homepage of the company's official site, BioShock creator Ken Levine says he will be closing down the BioShock Infinite studio soon, with most of its staff being laid off in the process. "I am winding down Irrational Games as you know it. I’ll be starting a smaller, more entrepreneurial endeavor at Take-Two," Levine wrote. "That is going to mean parting ways with all but about fifteen members of the Irrational team.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Nargacuga guide
