How to easily beat Sir Gideon Ofnir, the All-Knowing in Elden Ring

Elden Ring puts you through a tough and varied boss gauntlet towards the climax of its main story, which you must get through in order to see it to its conclusion. Before you get to the actual major bosses in that gauntlet, however, one small hurdle stands in your way in the Capital of Ash. Sir Gideon Ofnir, the All-Knowing is technically the first boss of the gauntlet. If you’ve been paying attention to his dialogue throughout the game, you’ll know that Ofnir always gave off bad vibes, and it likely won’t surprise you that he’s going to turn on you just as you’re getting closer to your goal.

Warzone new perks are here, but the big question is whether they're worth your time. Season 5 adds two new perks that seem handy on the surface, but each has a significant caveat that makes them potentially less useful in practice. Raven could alter each as the season progresses depending on how players use them, though, and we'll update if that's the case. Warzone new perks | Is Combat Scout worth it?

New Need for Speed game also coming before the end of March 2018

Need for Speed helps round out a suddenly busier looking year for EA. Need for Speed will return sometime during EA's next financial year, which ends March 31 2018, the publisher said during today's financials. It's even possible the new Need for Speed may release in calendar 2017, as the publisher previously predicted. EA CEO Andrew Wilson said the untitled new racer boasts "ambitious and more competitive online gameplay", which presumably means even more connected features than past Need for Speed games like Rivals - perhaps something along the lines of The Crew or Forza Horizon.

Supermassive's horror game The Quarry will have 186 different endings

The Quarry, the upcoming narrative horror game from Supermassive Games, will have multiple endings. And when we say multiple, well, we really mean 186. Each ending will depend upon choices you make in the game with the non-playable characters. These endings could result in life or death, as the story will change depending on said choices - all of which are included in a 1,000-page script. Speaking with IGN, the game's director, Will Byles, discussed the amount of work that goes into such a “mathematical nightmare”.

Switch - household items, other devices could be causing Joy-Con wireless connectivity issues

Since launch yesterday, some Switch owners have reported connectivity issues when using the system's Joy-Con controllers. Nintendo has said something as simple as a microwave may be the culprit. Connectivity issues being reported when using Switch's Joy-Con controllers wirelessly include: characters moving on their own or not responding correctly; controllers responding intermittently; and controller losing connection with the console. The first and most obvious step is to ensure the controllers are charged.

Does Battlefield 4 offer too many weapon choices?

Over two years later and after almost all of its post-launch content, does Battlefield 4 have too many weapons? Our Battlefield fan Westie's latest video discusses an idea that isn't often talked about among the Battlefield community; does the game have too many weapons? Does it offer too many options that most of them end up being too similar to one another? This isn't a question strictly about balance either, as Westie notes nothing stands out as overpowered or underpowered.

Mass Effect 2 demonstrates the innate danger in legitimizing nationalist terrorist groups

Mass Effect 2 puts both Shepard and the player in a compromised position. As the player, we are blindsided by Shepard's death in the opening moments of the game. Presumably, Shepard is in a similar position as they drift in and out of consciousness/the void. Upon awakening--too soon, one might note--both the player and Shepard are thrust into a do or die situation where cooperation with the human-centered extremist group Cerberus is non-negotiable.

The Witcher 3: Blood Ties

Death or desertion? Find out the truth in this side quest. To start this quest you'll need to head to the bottom right of the map, or the south west portion. Here you'll find a big Nilfgaaridan soldier's camp. Through the main gates and to the left you'll see a noblewoman under a tent. She stands out as she's sitting on a good quality chair wearing nice clothes. She wants you to look for her son, and he should be easy to find as he's a redhead.
