Fallout fans got a fascinating look at what might have been thanks to a recent presentation from Van Buren designer Chris Avellone. Before Fallout went to live with Bethesda, it was Interplay's baby. The developer had big plans for a third entry, which it codenamed Van Buren, before the company fell on hard times. Speaking at the NYU Game Center's Practice 2015 conference, as reported by Polygon, Avellone gave some insight into the cancelled project - which still fascinates long-time series fans today.

Although ArenaNet is happy to let you try out another server in Guild Wars 2, those who want to change loyalties permanently will have to cough up a fee. Speaking to PC Gamer, lead designer Eric Flannum said that the team wants players to choose their home server - World - carefully, as it determines both who they'll fight for in the MMORPG's epic World vs World multiplayer as well as what bonuses they'll receive for winning.

Thanks to a save editor, you can now play as Final Fantasy 7 Remake character Red XIII for a short period of time. The save editor was created by Xeeynamo, and while it is limited, it will allow you to manage your Final Fantasy 7 Remake inventory, materia, and character levels, according to SP1st, and allow Red XIII to be fully playable for a limited time. As the site notes, you can only use the character for a short time due to the party resetting after major cutscenes.

You'll only have to wait a little while longer to play Quantic Dream's new games on Steam. Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and, of course, Detroit: Become Human were among the early Epic Games Store exclusives. Now, developer Quantic Dream has announced that all three games are coming to Steam, perhaps a bit sooner than what fans expected given the usual one-year exclusivity period. All three games are coming to Steam on June 18, and they all have Steam pages.

Townscaper, a chill and very aesthetically-pleasing city-builder from Oskar Stalberg (whom you may know as the developer behind Bad North) is now available to play on Xbox Game Pass. The fan-favourite Skull Trooper skin has returned to Fortnite. Skull Trooper was a Halloween favourite last year bit it isn't necessarily a rare skin, unlike the Power Chord outfit that was re-released a few months ago. This new Skull Trooper skin comes with a female version too, along with an accompanying Skull Sickle pickaxe and Crypt Cruiser glider. You can earn the Ghostportal backbling by completing challenges. You can also customise the face with some wicked colours, including dayglow paint.
