Deep Silver's parent company, Embracer Group, has confirmed Dead Island 2 is still in development, but it's not expected to be released until some point during the company's next fiscal year which begins in March 2023. A question regarding the game's development was asked during the Embracer Group’s latest financial results via a Q&A. The question was regarding whether the game has an official release window attached or not, and what we can expect from a title that's been in development for ten years.

Capcom has removed Denuvo from Devil May Cry 5 on PC. Devil May Cry 5 received a small update on PC earlier this morning. Although Capcom has yet to release official patch notes, SteamDB recorded a change to the game's .exe file upon the patch's release. The only change in this updated version is the removal of Denuvo's anti-tamper DRM. Indeed, the game's official Steam page no longer makes mention of Denuvo.

Legendary art director Yoji Shinkawa has revealed that we might not have to wait long to see what Kojima Productions is up to. Kojima Productions has been fairly quiet since the release of Death Stranding. Though there have been some cryptic teasers here, and rumours of unsuccessful partnerships there, we're still not sure what Hideo Kojima and co. are currently working on. But, according to studio art director and Kojima collaborator, Yoji Shinkawa, the team's next project will be announced soon.

The second Century: Age of Ashes closed beta will kick off on Steam this Friday, March 12. After the initial Century: Age of Ashes test, Playwing’s second closed beta is set to run until March 21 with all player progress including experience, earned currency, and unlockables carrying forward to April’s Early Access launch. The player limit has also been increased drastically to test servers and get riders in on the action.

A new cinematic trailer has been released, showing off the upcoming Apex Legends season, alongside our first look at the game’s newest character. The new season, titled Saviors, seems to be coming with monstrous changes to Storm Point as that’s where the events of the trailer takes place. The US-based retail chain Target will be handing out Charizard codes to Pokemon Sun and Moon players next month. All you have to do to get the Flying/Fire-type, which is the final form of Charmander, is to walk into the store and ask for the code.
