DICE has confirmed Onslaught Mode will be released for Battlefield Bad Company 2 on PC. Speaking with PC Gamer, senior producer Patrick Bach failed to provide a release date or a price, but told the site it was, finally, coming. “We’re thrilled to bring something new and fresh to Battlefield: Bad Company 2 while still keeping Battlefield’s signature gameplay intact,” said Bach. “We want to consistently support the over 4 million fans playing the game with new ways to get into multiplayer and also challenge the elite players with new experiences to improve their performance online.

Korean MMO-RPG Lost Ark has entered its open beta stage and fans are going wild. You can find a Lost Ark Online community on Redditand there's a Discord dedicated to this massively popular title, but unfortunately, it’s only open to Korean players, so here's a link to where you can find more information on how to access the game. The open beta test doesn’t have an end date as of yet and no progress is expected to be lost at any point, with the aim of letting players keep their progress when the game eventually launches.

The days of jumping off your mount, looting, and saddling back up in Horizon Zero Dawn will be a thing of the past, thanks to a new skill tree. Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds will come with a new skill set called Traveller which shaves some time off when looting. The new skill tree will sit alongside Brave, Forager and Prowler which are already included in-game. Not only will players be able to stay mounted when looting, they can also do so while gathering crafting materials.

Capcom Heroes is a costume and new game mode pack for Dead Rising 4, and the latest video shows off some some of the more interesting fashion choices. The PC ports of Vanquish and Bayonetta are seemingly making their way to console. Update: It looks like it may not just be Vanquish on its way to Xbox One. Some time after the publication of this story, True Achievements spotted another store page, this time for Bayonetta. Like Vanquish, this remaster also appears to be based on the PC version, with 4K enhancements for Xbox One X. The two games have the same February 18 release date, and both will even be available as part of the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle - though prices aren't yet available for any of them.

As Cyberpunk 2077 has been repeatedly updated, the focus has primarily been on the improvements made to the performance of CD Projekt RED’s open-world adventure, especially on console where – let’s be fair – it launched as more than a bit of a pig. But returning to Night City, I’m stunned by the depth of these updates. And I am surprised they’ve not been talked about more. I played Cyberpunk 2077 on PC, back before it was released to the world and chaos ensued.
