MLB: The Show will no longer live on as a PlayStation exclusive. Sony and MLB have signed a contract extension that allows the former to continue having exclusive rights to the official game based on Major League Baseball. This type of extension is common, but what's interesting this time around is that MLB: The Show series will, for the first time ever, be available on more platforms than just PlayStation. This will happen as early as 2021, according to the press release.

Prey reviews trickled in slowly over the course of release week. So, what's the consensus? If you were wondering why reviews for Prey were scant when it released, it's because Bethesda only sent review codes a day before the embargo, as per the publisher's new review code policy. Despite weird glitches that could be exploited upon release, critics seemed to think Prey was worth your time and money. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate's Nibelsnarf is the stuff of dreams for games magazine writers. Imagine the captions. "Reminds me of my mother-in-law." Pay rises all round. According to Capcom Unity, the Nibelsnarf is a Leviathan type and is quite unique, having the most in common with Monster Hunter Tri's Gobul. The Gobul was an aquatic beast, but the Nibelsnarf "swims" through sandy deserts. It can suck sand and objects into its mouth and spit them out in a special attack, or vent sand through its gills to protect its rear.
