Legendary Tetris player Jonas Neubauer has died, as per a statement on his Twitter account. According to a post published on Twitter, Neubauer died after a “sudden medical emergency” and passed away on January 4, aged 39. "He was the absolute best," the message states. "We are devastated, overwhelmed with grief, and we already miss him dearly." Fireworks paint the night sky with rainbow hues as machine lifeforms, the androids' sworn enemies, don extravagant garb. "Let's dance, let's play," the machines insist, extending an invitation to all would-be foes to join in the festivities. The androids are apprehensive accepting the offer, though, because, in their world, pleasantries are often a veneer for existential dread on what it means to be human.

Lionhead has released a E3 gameplay video for Fable III, showing the player taking turns torturing or helping the townsfolk. Some may not consider having their head pushed downward and a massive vapor of butt gas tossed in their face torture, but each to his own. The video also shows the player shaking his "lovely soft hands" with an NPC, and an option called "Rodeo" where the player and NPC run through the village holding hands.

It looks like Sony is getting ready to close down the PS3, PS Vita, and PlayStation Portable stores soon, according to a new report. According to a source familiar with Sony's plans, the PS3, PS Vita, and PlayStation Portable's digital storefronts will be closed down in July, meaning players will be unable to purchase digital content on those platforms any longer. As per a report published by The Gamer, the PSP and PS3 stores will be closed on July 2, with the PS Vita store will stay open until August 27.
